"This film started with a very simple premise: a girl dating five guys. However, during the writing process it became something more personal and complex. Ultimately, it's about the irony of being a social butterfly who is also deeply lonely. That’s certainly a type of person that I have experience with in my own life, but I also think it’s representative of something more pervasive in society: living in a more connected world has not made us feel more connected to others. More wealth and progress has not made us feel better about the state of things, we’re confused and alienated. This film takes a lot of that anxiety and distills it into a relatable premise that tries to make you laugh, and I think I speak for everyone who worked on it when I say I am very proud of the end result.”

Peter Ambrosio (Director) hails from New Jersey and graduated from NYU with a degree in film production. Since then he has worked on numerous independent projects including web series, a half hour pilot, several short films, and various commercials. 'Sunday Girl' is his first feature film. In addition to directing 'Sunday Girl', Peter also wrote and produced the film.
Dasha Nekrasova (Natasha) is a Belarusian American actress, writer and podcaster. She starred in the independent films 'Wobble Palace' (2018) and 'The Softness of Bodies' (2018), and co hosts the podcast 'Red Scare' with Anna Khachiyan. In 2018, she became known as 'Sailor Socialism' following an interview with an InfoWars reporter that went viral, and was featured on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Born in Belarus, she emigrated with her parents to the US at the age of 4.
